To avoid any accidental static corrective responses from the collar, it must always be in contact with the transmitter or the system will think the pet has left the containment area.

The transmitter should be placed in an area that will be safe and dry to avoid potentially damaging the device.

The receiver collar might have a waterproof feature, but the transmitter will not. Be careful to not allow the transmitter to get wet or else the signal might be negatively affected.

Another key factor is the size and attitude of the pet. If the pet is large and known for being stubborn, this method of training may not be the most effective solution for you.

For a reliable set up and optimal safety, follow the instructions in the provided manual that explains training and installation, or ask our customer service team for help.
